UTS ART Education & Outreach presents a unique workshop space from 20 October – 6 November in The Art of Storytelling.
Explore the power of storytelling and consider how artists document contemporary life, reveal hidden histories or invent fictional worlds. The Art of Storytelling includes a diverse selection of artworks from the UTS Art Collection by contemporary artists and gives participants a unique opportunity to contribute to a collaborative display and engage with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander perspectives and artist practices.
Artist-led workshops will allow groups to extend their skills in art making and creative writing and be inspired by artists including Blak Douglas, Amy Tracey, Daniele Hromek and writer Anita Heiss. For inquiries and group bookings please contact Cara MacLeod, Coordinator, UTS ART Education and Outreach.
Free, drop-in lunchtime tours of The Art of Storytelling for UTS staff and students will be held on Tuesday 27th October and Tuesday 3rd November at 1 – 1:30pm meeting in the UTS Gallery.
