UTS Gallery is in the Peter Johnson Building at the University of Technology. Design, Architecture and Building Faculty next to the ABC Building on Harris Street, off Broadway. The gallery can be accessed from Harris Street or The Goods Line pedestrian corridor. It is a short walk from Chinatown, Darling Harbour and Broadway shopping centre.
Public transport is the most convenient way to get to UTS. The gallery is five minutes walk from Central railway station, Railway Square and Eddy Avenue bus interchanges and the Haymarket light rail station.
Metered on-street parking is available around UTS but parks can be difficult to find. Broadway shopping centre offers up to two hours free parking and there are pay parking stations nearby in Jones Street and Quay Street. UTS ART welcomes all visitors and is committed to making its programs and services accessible to everyone. Disabled parking is available in front of the UTS Tower Building on Broadway. Level access to the gallery is available via the building entrance at 702 Harris Street or over the footbridge from the UTS tower. The nearest fully accessible toilets are the Universal Cafeteria (on the same floor as the gallery).
Museum of Applied Arts and Sciences is Sydney’s museum of science, technology, design, decorative arts and social history. White Rabbit in Chippendale is one of the world’s largest and most significant collections of contemporary Chinese art and Gallery 4A is a centre for contemporary Asian and Australian art. MOP Projects and Wellington St Projects are local artist-run spaces with diverse programs of exhibitions and events. The Commercial and Galerie Pompom are local commercial galleries representing Australian and international artists.
