EchoSonics suggests the subtle ways in which sounds address us. It brings together different practices within the sound art field, from fine art to acoustic ecologies and is concerned with how people engage with emergent systems and natural phenomena. In the words of curator Dr. Nigel Helyer “Within a sonic world there is no separation between the sound and our bodies – we are vibrated and it enters our bodies, immersive and continuous. Almost everything speaks to us in that way, continually.”
