Join us for a panel talk to coincide with UTS Gallery’s current exhibition, My Trip to Mars by Sydney artist Adam Norton. With NASA now predicting a manned journey to Mars within the next thirty years and the prospect of Mars habitation now closer than ever, we ask the experts: what will life really be like on the Red Planet?
Writer, curator and arts commentator Andrew Frost will lead a panel of researchers and experts to ask: How will we live? What will we eat? How will we communicate with home? Just how far away is Adam Norton’s vision?
- Adam Norton, artist
- Simon Buckingham Shum, Professor of Learning Informatics & Director of the Connected Intelligence Centre, University of Technology Sydney
- Dr Jonathan Clarke, President, Mars Society Australia
