To accompany Kate Scardifield’s UTS ART exhibition Soft Topologies, the artist has worked with students from the UTS Bachelor of Design (Honours) in Fashion and Textiles over a six-week period to develop four performances exploring the relationship between textiles, the body and architecture. As part of this process, students also participated in a movement workshop led by dancer and choreographer Brooke Stamp.

Informed by Scardifield’s practice, students utilised their personal textile research and interests to develop site-specific responses and performances to The Goods Line, a pedestrian pathway connecting UTS, Ultimo, Haymarket and the Powerhouse Museum.
