This resource positions Joyce Hinterding’s work Floric Antenna 1 – Orange Lichen Study as the central reference point in teaching aspects of curriculum for Science, Technology, Mathematics and Visual Arts for stages 4 &  5 high school students.

It has been compiled by STEAM educators with input from UTS Faculty staff. It is designed to exemplify the creative work of artists in exploring, collaborating and working across disciplines and the opportunities this provides for teachers to explain concepts from different perspectives.

The resource has been designed as a stand alone teaching aid or to be used in conjunction with video conferencing workshops available by invitation to select DET NSW Regional schools.
